NEW PROPOSALS FOR THE OPEN MARKET
Details of new ideas for the Open Market are emerging: the Market is currently in a very poor state, and all concerned, both traders and the City Council are to be commended for this remedial action.
LCE Architects (of Jubilee Library fame) have produced some very interesting ideas, and although these are early days, we look forward to seeing firm proposals which will invigorate the area as well as satisfying the demand for market facilities in a civilised modern setting.
